Brüel & Kjær and General Dynamics sign Memorandum of Intention
Sound and vibration expert, Brüel & Kjær has entered into a Memorandum of Intention (MOI) with defence vehicle specialist, General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS).
Within this agreement the companies will investigate potential areas of industrial cooperation and supply chain management collaboration. The MOI sets a framework for cooperation that will promote and enhance the business interests of both parties.
Brüel & Kjær and GDELS have agreed to evaluate areas of mutual interest to support long-term industrial growth strategy, such as the potential expansion of Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration into General Dynamics’ global supply chain network - plus supply of equipment and services to measure, monitor, analyse and report noise and vibration.
There will also be an evaluation of industrial cooperation to fulfil GDELS’ future offset requirements. This includes plans to expand its global chain network and engagement with local industry in Denmark, by competing to win a contract to deliver Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) for the Danish Army.
General Dynamics European Land Systems (www.gdels.com) is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of wheeled, tracked, and amphibious vehicles - and other combat systems.
