IFS Applications #1 in Aerospace and Defence EAM and FSM software

IFS’s position as market leader once again confirmed by research and advisory firm ARC Advisory Group

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, has been identified as the number one vendor in market share in enterprise asset management (EAM) and field service management (FSM) software for Aerospace and Defence (A&D) industries by ARC Advisory Group, the leading information technology research and advisory firm for industry and infrastructure.

In its publication "Enterprise Asset Management and Field Service Management Global Market Research Study," ARC Advisory Group recognises IFS as the leading supplier to the global aerospace and defence industry. According to the report, IFS has gained market shares in aerospace and defence in each of the last three years, growing nearly 25 percent since 2012.

"Aerospace and defence is a sector with significant requirements for traceability, asset serialisation, and heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul," ARC Research Director for Enterprise Software Ralph Rio said. "The key users are the military, defence contractors, and commercial aviation sectors - all of which require high equipment reliability for a large number of mission-critical assets. IFS has a long history of strength in the A&D market with both commercial and military customers."
