IPT Displayed at DHS Capabilities Demonstration

DHS Systems LLC displayed several of its innovative mobile infrastructure solutions at the company's third annual Capabilities Demonstration that took place on May 9-10, 2012. The event, which was held near DHS' manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL., included industry leaders, military officials, and dignitaries from across the country as well as representatives from DHS Systems International Ltd., the company's global provider for servicing customers outside of the United States.

DRASH Intelligent Power Technology®

At the demonstration, attendees experienced the latest in tactical mobile power on the battlefield - DRASH Intelligent Power Technology® (IPT). IPT is an advanced power generation system that enables operators to connect several digital trailer-mounted generators together to form a networked power micro-grid. Once activated, the system automatically turns generators "on" and "off" based on real-time power demands. DRASH Intelligent Power Technology® achieves significant fuel savings, reduces wear and tear and works anywhere it is needed.

The company also unveiled its other energy efficient products, including its solar shade and insulated liners. These products provide an additional layer of protection to reduce interior shelter temperatures and provide additional fuel savings.

The military has a history of turning to DRASH for reliable and battlefield-proven mobile infrastructure solutions to help them conduct numerous operations around the world. More than 17,000 DRASH shelters and over 7,500 trailers are currently in use with all branches of the U.S. Army and NATO forces around the world. Emergency responders have also deployed DRASH shelters and support equipment, including in response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the H1N1 outbreak and the tsunami in Japan last year.
