Radar Towers

Radar AlanDick’s structural engineers have designed a range of self-supporting towers to satisfy the exacting requirements of radar systems and their uses. These towers can be designed for compliance with almost any global design code using in-house software. The range of radar towers caters for heights up to 70 metres, constructed using a selection of tubular and angular legs.

Military Simulators & Projection Screens

Using the knowledge of composite design and construction AlanDick have designed a range of display screens and domes, for many types of visual display simulation.

From simple freestanding curved screens through to dome structures up to 18 metres in diameter, AlanDick is able to provide high precision structures incorporating high accuracy in the internal display surface.

AlanDick will fill in any points which are in the field of view to achieve an invisible result; following the filling process a high quality spray finish will be applied to provide a smooth and even surface with the required light properties.

AlanDick has supplied simulator domes which are either static, i.e. bolted to a fixed surface, or movable, i.e. bolted onto a movable platform.

Any access provisions necessary, such as staircases and walkways, can be designed and supplied as an integral part of the package.

Radar Support Systems

Focusing on the specialised field of Radar, AlanDick has successfully utilised extensive in-house electromagnetic, structural and civil expertise, allied to a global manufacturing, installation and civils construction resource to provide a truly turnkey service to the military and civil aviation industries worldwide.
