BCB International, a long established designer and manufacturer of quality survival & protective equipment launches its latest innovative product – Blast Boxers.

This is an entirely new category of equipment and is of a highly innovative design. Given that explosive devices tend to affect the lower half of the body, Blast Boxers are clearly an important new edition to other currently available equipment protecting our soldiers.

The Blast Boxer is designed to offer protection against most fragments during blasts from improvised explosive devices (IED’s). The lining is constructed using a knitted Kevlar fabric and is positioned around crucial zones of the groin to help guard against life changing injuries such as perineal and femoral artery injuries. The Blast Boxers can be worn under combat trousers and over underwear.

The product has been developed by BCB in response to comments from the UK MOD on the serious injuries many soldiers were facing whilst in Afghanistan.
