During the Crimean War (1853 to 1856) thousands of men were dying of disease and common ailments - a remedy was needed and in 1854, Dr Brown had the solution - Brown’s Cough Bottle - BCB.
Although it`s primary ingredient was morphine, this marvellous medicine also
contained homeopathic ingredients including horehound and was soon known for
its amazing abilities to sooth most ills. Indeed it was hailed as a wonder cure of its time
