Copenhagen Sensor Technology has been creating cameras since 2001. We have created these cameras for situations where light is a scares resource and distance is of the essence. We have made cameras for many nations around the world, and are always involved in projects pushing the borders of what cameras can do.

We are specialized in the way we make the cameras and control the development from the very first step to the very last. All of our development, testing, qualifications, production, sales and marketing are all done from our headquarters in Herlev near Copenhagen, Denmark.

Military Electro Optic System - (MEOS)

Copenhagen Sensor Technology currently has one of the broadest spectrums of solutions on the camera market. Ruggedized RWS / sensor systems and OHWS/ overhead sensor systems

CST RWS/OHWS sensor program features some of the latest technology. The cameras are currently used by the Armed forces in Australia, USA and Canada. Their knowledge and experience gained through combat in Iraq and Afghanistan was implemented concurrently. CST RWS/OHWS is available in two variants.

The CST PORS system is a series of multi-sensor systems. The series is available in two variants, both offering various EO/IR sensor configurations with high flexibility in features and performance.

Military Local Awareness systems (LAS) – “The Optical Shield”

Copenhagen Sensor Technology’s Local Awareness System (LAS) is also referred to as “the optical shield” on armored vehicles. The idea behind it is to move the passive armor in to an active protective system. The solution places cameras of different FOV (field of views) on the vehicle which allows the driver to see their surroundings as far as 200 meters away, in a 360 degree solution. The camera is displayed on ruggedized monitors and gives you up to 170 degree vision, with 1 camera.

Drivers Sight – a merger of visual and thermal

Copenhagen Sensor Technology’s Drivers Sight is our latest addition and provides the driver of an armored vehicle the opportunity to view the scenery at night. We have successfully merged the two camera technologies in to one image that provides the driver with 24/7 vision. The merging gives the driver the opportunity to stay with the same image and not flick between more cameras. A standalone thermal camera or Black/white camera has some disadvantages, but put together, these problems disappear. The merging provides the solutions of 2 cameras systems at the cost of 1.
