In early 2008 HGI developed and introduced a small diesel suited for Plant Hire use. At only 2.6kVA it answered the problem of a small output but EU Noise Compliant diesel set. Now in the midst of the recession HGI are launching a NEW 6kVA diesel set, the SKD60.

A 6kVA EU noise compliant generator, with an economic price,which is narrow enough to go through doorways, complete with a fully kitted out facia panel containing plenty of sockets, circuit breakers, RCD's a good sized metal fuel tank, solid axles, solid large diameter wheels and its the easiest of models to service.

The ubiquitous 6kVA diesel,a generator no hire company can do without but its difficult to get a good return, particularly now that business is tight.
Well, the new SKD60 promises a good rental return, with high levels of reliability, high perceived value and a unique Air Flow management system which ensures cool running what ever the summer temperatures.

The options are equally good. CTE for rail work and for demanding customers, a TIN12 speced version, a manually or automatically operated AMF. Axles and prods which unbolt enabling the set to be used like a skid, and a completely detachable Lighting Tower option.
