Military Field Generators

Currently in production and in service with the British MoD, HGI's 2kW set features revolutionary permanent magnet technology, resulting in incredible power efficiency and extremely light weight. A sound-deadening canopy, the ability to output any voltage configuration at anytime (110/240/24), multi speed running, and total voltage stability for sensitive applications combine to make the LFG the generator for the 21st century.

Power Pack Repair Facility - PPRF - Challenger Tank Support

In service with the British MoD since 1998, this HGI designed and built set provides crucial power support for Challenger tank mobile repair. Five sets work together to power inflatable workshops where the tank engine can be stripped down and repaired, even in the middle of a battle zone. At 27kVA, featuring lightweight panels and advanced filtering, this set is perfectly featured to operate in even the most arduous conditions for any length of time.

CORMORANT DIGITAL COMMUNICATION. GENERATOR

Designed to power the Army's new digital communication system, HGI developed the Cormorant power solution, consisting of two 20kVA or three 4kVA generators. The Cormsorant generator utilizes Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technology adapted for the military to deliver a high-tech solution to their equipment requirements. In addition, the canopies are coated in an infrared reflective powder coating and the set is able to run in blackout conditions.

AIRBORNE STAND-OFF RADAR (ASTOR)

Airborne Stand Off Radar (ASTOR) is a ground surveillance system designed to provide information about the deployment and movement of enemy forces. HGI provide the generators that power the ground station network, with each set consisting of a John Deere 3029D engine running at 1,500rpm, close coupled to a Newage, AVR controlled alternator.
