Hawkmoor Ltd is based in the United Kingdom and has been supplying military field catering equipment to the UK MoD and other defence forces worldwide for many years. The company is ISO9001 accredited and a member of A|D|S (Aerospace|Defence|Security).

Hawkmoor aims to provide a quality service working with its customers to meet their specific requirements, including providing training and spares for the equipment supplied. To this end, Hawkmoor has an active R&D (Research & Development) department.

Military Portable Field Cookers

Hawkmoor supply cookers suitable for catering for the individual or groups of various sizes. These units are rapidly deployable and of a robust design. There is a range of multi-fuelled cookers, units fuelled by LPG (Liquefied Propane Gas) or Diesel/Kerosene fuelled systems.

The Diesel range includes small cookers utilising a 3kW burner and larger units utilising the highly efficient, quiet running 24V DC Burner.

The 24V DC diesel/kerosene burner has been developed over several years to comply with the NATO single-fuel policy. Using the latest technology available ensures that this burner is clean-burning and fuel efficient. The burner has been tested over many thousands of hours with minimal maintenance required and has proved itself on operational use within the Deep Fat Fryer and Field Water Boiler.

Trailer Mounted Field Kitchens

There are several trailer-mounted units available to cater for large groups of personnel. These units are designed for rapid deployment and are very robust. Units available include LPG fuelled, multi-fuelled and diesel/kerosene systems.

Standard accessory packages can be supplied with both the portable and trailer mounted field kitchens which include various pots, pans, cooking utensils and ancillary items. Ancillary equipment such as gastronorm containers and utensils can also be supplied separately.

Military Insulated Food Containers

To keep food and beverages at temperature (either hot or cold) and for transportation and storage purposes, Hawkmoor can supply a variety of insulated containers. These range from the NATO 18 Litre “Norgie” to Gastronorm sized containers which can be ambient or temperature-controlled.

The 18 Litre “Norgie” is a robust, purpose-designed insulated food and beverage container that has been in use worldwide for many years. Currently being developed is a 15 Litre insulated beverage dispenser/container based on the “Norgie” with the same high insulation properties, rugged design and ability to withstand high temperatures.

Military Portable Fridge/Freezers

For the chilled or frozen storage of foodstuffs, portable fridge/freezers can be provided. These come in 2 sizes; a 0.7 cubic metre unit and a 6 cubic metre walk-in unit. Both units fold down for ease of storage and transportation and both can be supplied with shelving. In addition to these 2 portable units, 20ft ISO containerised fridge/freezers are also available.

•Diesel generators from 2.4kVA to 60kVA units
•Water purification equipment
•Various 20ft containerised systems including; ablutions, laundries, fridge freezers and mortuaries
