CELOX GAUZE will be used by the Armed Forces as their haemostatic agent of choice for the treatment and control of severe bleeding resulting from battlefield injuries, and represents an important advance in the treatment of traumatic and life-threatening injuries.

CELOX GAUZE is the latest advance in the Celox range, and is an ideal addition to any medical first responder’s trauma equipment when dealing with life-threatening bleeding.

CELOX GAUZE consists of a robust fabric dressing impregnated with Celox granules. It is an instinctive product to use, and allows the delivery of Celox Granules directly to the bleeding site. Within seconds, a sticky, gel-like plug will form, and this, in conjunction with direct pressure, will control the most severe of bleeds within minutes.

CELOX GAUZE requires no cutting, and can be easily torn to the required size. It works well in windy conditions, or any other high-stress environment. With no special storage instructions, CELOX GAUZE is effective in all environments, from the arctic to the desert.

CELOX GAUZE was developed to effectively meet the needs of any emergency medical first responder, and is the latest addition to the Celox line of temporary traumatic wound treatments.

Celox products are suitable for all types of bleeding, including arterial and venous bleeds. They do not generate heat, are easily removed from the wound, and are effective at clotting hypothermic blood and blood containing anti-coagulants.
