Sascal Displays Ltd. (SDL) has been designing and manufacturing high quality electronic equipment since 1994. We operate from two sites, being located at Hayes, Middlesex (4 miles from Heathrow Airport) UK.

We provide engineering, equipment and support to the Defence, Radar, Medical and Commercial sectors.

We have considerable experience in the areas of electronic design and manufacturing systems, and have demonstrated to various prime contractors in the UK and overseas, that we can deliver quality products on time, with total support and value.

Our Rugged Military Displays are used for Driver Night Vision and Situational Awareness, and are for Driver, Commander and Crew. They offer superb performance using the latest electronic components, integrated machined aluminium housings with options for communications, connectivity, switching, power, multiple picture-in-picture video, with programmable graphical overlays to meet any HMI requirements. Optical solutions, including NVG compliancy and Embedded solutions are also provided.

We ensure our Rugged Displays meet exacting standards and work in the harshest of environments including military ‘Land class A’ compliance for EMC.

Our Displays are currently on many vehicle platforms and recently we have been awarded significant contracts to supply UK MOD vehicles including Ridgeback, Mastiff, Warthog, Viking, Challenger II and MLRS.

Our Displays are used in Naval Fire Control Systems and Gun Mounts for the UK and overseas Navy’s, including Scan Conversion for Radar to interface with legacy equipment to current technology with improved performance and support.

Our Avionics Displays used in the ATR42 aircraft, provide bespoke solutions that overcome obsolescence and can do the same for fast jet or helicopters with options for restricted viewing angles, Sunlight Readability, NVG compatibility, with improved performance and programmable HMI features, ensuring interfacing with existing equipment, providing cost effective ongoing support.

We offer the same types of products with reduced specification and cost, for Simulated Land Systems Training, including Avionics, where HMI is paramount to complete mission training.

We provide complete product design and manufacture to customers who are scaling back or cannot support manufacture and want a more cost effective solutions.

We offer unrivalled support for our own products and others, going back 30 years. We also support other companies’ products that have gone obsolete and can provide technology implants that offer a cost effective solution, rather than costly replacements, especially in these hard pressed financial times.
