Defence Containers, Transportable Rescue Pressure Chamber

To meet the armed forces demand for a transportable rescue pressure chamber and a two-in-one container that could ship and accommodate the chamber, CONTAINERTECH has developed a new expandable 20ft container that includes the transportable pressure chamber. When the unit is expanded the pressure chamber can be winched in and out through a hydraulically operated foldable door. The leveling of the container and the maneuvering of the second unit is hydraulically operated with a fully automatically system controlled by a programmable logic controller and a touch screen. The expanded unit is self-bearing and needs no further support. Beside the hospital treatment facility in the main room the unit is fitted with a technical room with an integrated 24kW generator, large breathing-air compressor, breathing air and oxygen cylinders, dehumidifier and alarm with GSM/GPS functionality.

The treatment facility has a positive pressure emergency NBC air filtration system to protect in biological warfare situations. To protect the air and oxygen cylinders, the front of the container is ballistic proof in accordance with Stanag 4569 Level 1.

The transportable two-person treatment chamber system is manufactured by Haux Life Support in Germany and is meant for long-term transports. The frustoconical shell accommodates one lying injured diver and one sitting assistant doctor. The chamber is equipped with bayonet flange DIN/NATO and internal closed-circuit life-support system and direct oxygen injection.

The complete unit can be deployed by hook lift trucks with no need for forklifts or cranes in accordance with Stanag 2413.

Water Recovery Systems

At CONTAINERTECH we have developed many environmental engineering water recovery systems using a wide range of advanced tools and techniques including simulation, component and water testing. The systems are usually built into container systems from one to several depending on application and demand for quality of cleaned water.

We have expertise in online testing and reporting of water quality in the units. The units are self reporting via PLC and GSM broadband solutions. These technologies ensure that water recovery systems developed by CONTAINERTECH meet the exacting requirements for reliability and durability.

Custom ISO Container Sytems Up to 2000kVA

CONTAINERTECH will supply any ISO container based system to suit your needs. Whether you require a secure container to hold your generator or a fully sound attenuated system including fuel storage and distribution, we will deliver the unit. Most common is the 6,058mm (20') modified ISO container. The design is universal, allowing for a wide range of generators up to 1000kVA to be installed. The acoustic properties of the container can lower the noise levels of an installed generator by up to 40dB.

For systems up to 2000kVA Containertech can install the generator, basic control panel and fuel system into a single 40' standard ISO container.

For larger systems, the fuel supply and/or engine cooling system may be installed externally. If a remote fuel supply is chosen as an option, the fuel connections are installed on the side of the container for easy access and maintenance.

We supply also special container solutions as high cubes, hook lift possibilities and extended length versions. To adhere to environmental regulations, on our standard designs, 100% of all fluids present in the system can be contained inside the enclosure. This would include lubrication oil, water and fuel oil.

Approval of Modified Containers and re-certification

The owner of a container which has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the CSC (Convention for Safe Containers) and has been modified in a manner resulting in structural changes is to notify the Authorities of those changes. The Authorities may require retesting of the modified container as appropriate prior to recertification after EN-ISO 1496-1 and CSC.

CONTAINERTECH has developed and manufactured its own test rig for this purpose and are able to both Transverse and Longitudinal testing to certify that our modified containers are still as strong as when they left the factory of origin.

CONTAINERTECH has certified container inspectors according IICL. Containertech issue an original certificate with new ACEP sticker on the container that has a unique number that corresponds with the written certificate.
