The name 'MERLIN' has been associated with diesel fuel injection test equipment since 1947.
Merlin Diesel Systems Ltd. has evolved from supplying not only test equipment but O.E.M spares, tooling and filters, all supplemented with new generation workshops and a Vehicle Diagnostic Centre.
Merlin headquarters are now located in a purpose built 5,110 M² facility in Preston, Lancashire employing over 70 people and distributing Merlin products in over 100 countries.
Our mission statement is simply to deliver quality products with excellent technical support in an efficient way and build strong ties with our customers and suppliers, thus creating a profitable business model where people enjoy working and where customers enjoy dealing with us.
OUR PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Diesel Fuel Injection Test Equipment
The product range includes injector & pump test and service equipment for automotive, light / heavy commercial, plant / industrial, rail and marine as well as a selection of accessories from camboxes, pump mounting brackets, mobile calibrating rigs, ultrasonic tanks to test injectors, test pipes and tool kits.
We also supply our own range of common rail test equipment, all manufactured in our Preston facility.
In addition to the standard range of equipment Merlin offer a bespoke service particularly useful for our O.E.M and heavy duty customers.
Merlin diesel injection pump test benches, injector reconditioning and test equipment and the Merlin range of engine valve re-facing machines are in service throughout the world.
As well as manufacturing new equipment, Merlin always have a comprehensive selection of used equipment which can either be bought as seen or as a refurbished unit carrying six months warranty.

We can supply from a large range of diagnostic equipment and tools to suit your needs, whether it's in depth diagnostics or specialist tools for recalibrating common rail systems.
Diesel Injection Spare Parts
The parts division specialise in the sale of diesel injection spare parts such as nozzles, gasket kits, filters, lift pumps and glow plugs.
We also carry a wide range of starters, alternators and vehicle electronics.
We are Official Distributors for; DELPHI, BOSCH, DENSO, CONTINENTAL, YANMAR, STANADYNE, WOODWARD, MONARK, MOTORPAL.
Military Fuel Pumps / Electronic Unit Injectors
We carry a comprehensive range of exchange and outright sale pumps and injectors, all either repaired to O.E.M specification or brand new. These vary from old rotary and inline pumps right through to the very latest in Common Rail applications.
Filters
The filter division is well stocked with oil, fuel, air and hydraulic filters for automotive, commercial and plant applications from the following manufactures: MANN, COOPERS, FRAM, KNECHT, CROSLAND, HENGST, FLEETGAURD, DONALDSON and BALDWIN.
Workshop/Vehicle Care
To back up our fuel pump and injector exchange programme we have invested heavily in systems, technology and training making sure we have the workforce and machinery capable of repairing tomorrow's technology today.
We offer a collection service for customers who require estimates on fuel injection repairs.
Our vehicle care centre is available to look after the local market, carrying out anything from a regular service to sophisticated diagnosis and repairs.
