Polyformes is the UK & Europe’s largest polyethylene foam converter supplying foam inserts and foam products into a multitude of military packaging requirements in whatever shape or size required. Our product range includes NSN waterproof and shockproof Explorer Cases, bespoke timber and ply crates, aluminium air cargo transit cases and all grades of Plastazote and Ethafoam protective cushioning foam.

REINFORCED LIFETIME GUARANTEED EXPLORER CASES.

Polyformes Explorer Cases are waterproof, shockproof and dustproof. Being virtually indestructible, these cases come with a lifetime replacement guarantee and offer the optimum protection for all military equipment - electronics, communications, satellite and surveillance equipment etc. Built to withstand all environments from the Arctic to the Gobi desert, military kit of all kind – weapons, repair kits, night sights, thermal imagers and IED detection equipment are safely housed, easily utilised and highly portable. Available in olive drab, desert sand or black, these cases meet DEF-STAN 81-41 Level J, with STANAG certification and NATO stock codes.

PLASTAZOTE FOAM COMPONENTS, CRADLES, GASKETS, PADS & FOAM INSERTS.

Polyformes machines foam inserts specific to equipment directly and indirectly for the UK Ministry of Defence, as well as European armed forces, for land, sea and air divisions, using Plastazote foams. Ideal advanced military packaging material for long term protection e.g. when munitions and firearms are stockpiled, Plastazote is inert, non-corrosive, doesn’t leach and is oil, water and chemical resistant. Available in a range of densities and colours it has been machined and formed  at Polyformes to produce army helmet trauma liners, helicopter rotor blade spacers ejector seat headrest pads, missile cradles and nose cushions.

COMPOSITE PACKS, TIMBER & PLY CRATES, DR-14 ACCREDITATION.

DR-14 Accreditation enables authorisation to design military packaging and create the necessary SPSI sheets in order to manufacture composite packs to the required military and defence standard. Composite packs of timber, ply, plastics and foams allow for complete protection of all products including aircraft gearboxes, anti-tank weapons systems, helicopter actuators and rotor blades etc. Solid board and corrugated ATA shipping and storage packs are produced bespoke.

FLIGHT CASES & PLASTIC CASES.

At Polyformes we offer two more case types – flight cases made to measure and manufactured on our own site, any size for single product up to trunks with multiple compartments, and small parts plastic cases to house all types of  product from assembly nuts and bolts to ammunition and electronic components.
