TAM AS designs and produce lightweight military shelters for all kinds of communication, command and control. All shelters, including expandable shelters are designed for rapid deployment world wide. Most shelters are “stand alone” but connectable or expandable solutions are also available.

Lightweight Military Shelters

Most of TAM shelters both expandable and non expandable are designed and used as communication modules, command post, control centres, monitoring and observing etc. Common for most lightweight shelters are the design for rapid deployment world wide including special designed and integrated generator, heating and cooling system etc. for safe operation when grounded, either in Arctic condition with low temperature and snowstorm or in the desert with extreme heat and sand storm.

TAM also produces several shelters special designed for different vehicles such as S-250, S-788 etc. for the HMMWV shelter and radar shelters ARTHUR / MAMBA for the tracked vehicle like BV-206. These shelters meet most relevant standards as MIL-STD, STANAG, MIL-PRF-44408 etc. including shielding according to MIL.STD 285 if required.

Rapid Deployable Military Shelters

TAM AS has a wide range ISO 10’ and 20’ lightweight shelters, up to 3x expandable for rapid deployment. All shelters are according to ISO standards and delivered with CSC approval according to GL rules for safe handling.

Most shelters are supplied with super silent running diesel power generators and HAVAC systems for climatic zone A1-C1 according to STANAG 2895. The sound level inside the shelter is probably the lowest on the market.

TAM AS has almost 30 years experience in design and producing mobile lightweight shelters produced in our own high quality, vacuum bonded and self supporting insulated sandwich panels. Our sandwich system does not absorb humidity and does not contain any organic material and does not age. The lifetime is more than 20 years and our shelter solutions give very low life cycle costs.
