1000 mm Zoom Lens Camera System Added to SPECTREL Range

Long-range surveillance systems are widely used for military and high-end homeland security applications, such as camp protection, forward observation posts, mobile observation, border and coastal surveillance as well as protection of critical infrastructure such as seaports, airports and power plants.

In order to provide even more detailed vision for Long-Range Surveillance systems, CST launches the SPECTREL 121000/336 camera system. If features a high-performance 1000 mm, 33x motorized zoom lens, with fast-action zoom and focus adjustment. It is coupled to a highly sensitive 650 TVL colour CCD camera, capable of providing images even under moonlight conditions.

Main features are:

• Recognize a person at 8 km distance
• Broad operating temperature range, for a wide variety of climates (-40 to +70 degrees C)
• Retains alignment over the entire temperature and zoom range (+/- 0.2 mrad boresight retention)
• Graphical overlays, such as reticles or status information from ancillary equipment
• Day/Night operation
