Explotrain to Reveal New Technologies at the 2014 Global EOD Conference and Exhibition

Explotrain® LLC will again be exhibiting their products and services at the Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal Conference and Exhibition April 30 and May 1, 2014 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  This conference has been held for the past four years in conjunction with the EOD Memorial Weekend and serves as an annual gathering of EOD personnel in addition to an exchange of military, technical and industry information.

Explotrain’s president, C. Dean Preston, said,” We are very excited about the opportunity to not only showcase our latest technologies and products, but more importantly to interact with many of our most important customers.  The EOD Memorial Weekend however, is also a somber reminder of the seriousness of our business and why what we do is so important to so many people”.

In support of the EOD Memorial Weekend, Explotrain will be donating serial number 0001 of a surprise new product as part of the EOD Auction fund raiser hosted by the nonprofit EOD Warrior Foundation on Friday, May 2.  Mr. Preston also stated that plans are in the works to provide a live demonstration of their newest Explosive Simulators, an opportunity that is not typically available at most trade shows, “NDIA, the sponsor of the EOD Conference, has really gone the extra mile in including outdoor demonstrations, providing a rare chance for attendees to see, hear and feel how realistic explosive device training can be “.

Since the development of their training system and Model X-01™ Explosive Blast Simulator in 1999, Explotrain has invented and produced much of the technology used to train troops in the areas of Explosive Ordnance Disposal and IED Defeat.  They are best known in the EOD community for their patented Explosive and IED Simulators that are used with a variety of hyper realistic trigger sensors and simulated IEDs.
