Polyamp Jubilee Conference 17/01/2017

It was a historic event taking place at the National Maritime Museum at Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden. Polyamp AB held a Jubilee Conference to celebrate 50 Years in the business, there was invited guests, customers and personel from Polyamp HQ, Production site in Åtvidaberg, Sweden and from Switshcraft, a company within the Polyamp group.

The Conference was the main attraction in the 50 years celebration but was in between two internal conference days with company staff, management and company representatives that had come to Sweden to join the Polyamp festivities.

The guests arrived and registered from 9:30 AM and the conference started at 10:00 AM with an official welcome and a short presentation of Max IV (www.maxiv.lu.se) by Professor Mikael Eriksson, the mastermind behind Maxlab in Lund where Polyamp supported with Power Supplies. Professor Eriksson held a very interesting, scientific and informative keynote!

There was then a mixture of workshops and seminars held by Polyamp representatives and staff as well as invited guests.

At 13.00 hrs the Chief of RSwN, RAdm Jens Nykvist, held a speech about the Swedish Navy ́s future and abilities, the speech followed by questions from the audience.

RAdm Nykvist honored the Polyamp Conference by staying during most of the afternoon and participated in spontaneous photo events and small talk with the guests at the conference. Polyamp are very grateful that RAdm Nykvist could come to the event and share some thoughts about the future with us!

In the evening Polyamp invited all guests to a dinner held in one of the beautiful halls at the Museum with Music performance by Guitar, Chello and songs from historically famous Swedish sing/song writers. The dinner ended the Conference and the Anniversary close to midnight.
