For more than 40 years, R. A. Central to its product display at IDEF will be the extensive KAYDON® bearing range, now an SKF Group brand. This includes Reali-Slim® thin section bearings renowned for their suitability where space is limited and weight needs to be minimised.  These bearings are available in both Imperial and metric sizes and in different radial sections up to 1m diameter from stock – larger to order.

Rodriguez continue to be a leading choice for design engineers specifying components for mission-critical applications; examples include the Hubble telescope, the International Space Station and the Mars Rover missions.  They provide optimal economy in a given envelope dimension and are popular for their significant load carrying capacity and where precision positioning is critical.

R. A. Rodriguez application engineers will be at IDEF to provide custom design advice on the entire range of KAYDON rolling element bearings – ball, roller, taper and cylindrical.  Most bearings are available in special materials and with a choice of flanges, integral gears, retainers and preload settings. 

Different coatings can also be specified, including KAYDON’s proprietary Endurakote® plating for applications that require superior corrosion resistance.  This thin, dense chrome plating is proven for critical military, aerospace and deep space applications. All products are manufactured in facilities that are certified to ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C, the aerospace quality management system standard.
