MS Instruments has recently opened a second range for Ballistic Testing

MS Instruments has recently opened a second range for Ballistic Testing within its range complex at Wiltshire Ballistic Services Ltd (WBS) in Devizes. 

Paul Everington, Managing Director of MS Instruments and WBS said “This increase in range capacity greatly enhances our capability to carry out work for our customers. Within days of opening, our new range has become fully booked for the coming weeks and the calendar is filling up beyond this as well. This is not only good news but a testament to the quality of the work done by Dennis Stow (Range Manager) and his team at Wiltshire Ballistic Services”.

WBS is a wholly owned subsidiary of MS Instruments and is totally independent from any weapon or armour manufacturer.  It is quality approved to ISO 9001 and is the ONLY UK facility which is UKAS accredited to ISO 17025 for ballistic testing. WBS offers a full range of test facilities including a separate stab testing room, live-fire demonstration facility with various range distances up to 100m,and with 0.15” to 20mm capability.

Wiltshire Ballistic Services accredited by the UK Ministry of Defence

Wiltshire Ballistic Services Ltd (WBS) in Devizes was recently inspected by DSTL and as a result is now fully accredited by the UK Ministry of Defence.  Paul Everington, MD said:

“This is recognition for all of the hard work over the past few years, and the very high standards achieved by the team at Wiltshire Ballistic Services. Along with our ISO 17025 accreditation, this additional certification makes us one of the leading test houses in Europe.
