NEXT GENERATION MILITARY SOLUTIONS
Since exhibiting at DSEI in 2023 NP Aerospace has experienced a period of rapid growth and achieved mid-tier company status.
Having acquired certain assets of Jankel Armouring Limited and opened a new 5.73-acre facility in Coventry, NP Aerospace has been taking on increasingly more complex projects from a portfolio of large military customer contracts. With a significantly larger exhibition stand for 2025, the full NP Aerospace team will be showcasing their new portfolio at DSEI.
Vehicle Showcase
NP Aerospace will be presenting their capabilities in vehicle architecture upgrades and assembly programmes, highlighting engineering and development expertise from their work with global defence organisations such as UK, US, Belgium, Canada and Sweden.
GM Defense is teaming with NP Aerospace to pursue the UK Ministry of Defence’s Light Mobility Vehicle (LMV) requirements as part of the Land Mobility Programme (LMP) and is coexhibiting at Booth N2-410 to showcase a new vehicle for the first time in Europe. The team is working together to address broader opportunities across NATO and allied nations.
From interior fittings, to complete suspension overhauls, the NP Aerospace Vehicle Systems, Services & Spares (VSSS) team can upgrade any vehicle to the exact specification military users need. The offering includes post design support services and through life support to optimise operational capability of in-service military platforms, including obsolescence and configuration management. The VSSS team will be at the NP Aerospace stand, sharing their expertise and details of the latest projects.
A project being presented at the show is the UK MOD’s Project TAMPA, an additive manufacturing accelerator programme aimed at 3D printing military parts on-demand.
Integration Development
The VSSS business has over 30 years of experience leading complex military vehicle integrations and support programmes, managing a combined fleet of 18,000+ vehicles. The NP Aerospace R&D and project teams work closely with vehicle OEMs and technology partners to integrate mission systems in areas such as advanced weapon systems, C4ISR and electrification.
For example, NP Aerospace is working with Leonardo to integrate Falcon Shield on an upgraded British Army Mastiff XC platform. Falcon Shield is a rapidly deployable solution designed to tackle threats from uncrewed aerial systems (UAS).
The UK Ministry of Defence’s LMV, which NP Aerospace is pursuing in partnership with GM Defense, is intended to replace aging vehicles with a Common Based Platform. With dedicated UK facilities and a team that understands global market requirements, NP Aerospace offers UK vehicle integration, meeting UK safety standards, for global export.
