THE WASP DR RANGE OF ROTARY SWITCHES JUST SOLDERS ON
Fitting front panel switches on equipment often requires the need to fit them into restricted spaces in order to allow additional components to be used or to reduce weight. To help designers achieve this, WASP have introduced a solder lug version of their DR range of rotary switches which allows the switch to be easily soldered in the most confined space.
The DR switch is offered in 1 to 4 poles with up to 12 positions, as well as in coded outputs, adding more flexibility to the design. All the switches are panel and spindle sealed, with stainless steel spindles and gold contacts.
With a life exceeding 10,000 complete operations at the upper temperature of 85 degrees C, the DR can be used in all harsh conditions such as those experienced by military equipment, as well industrial and medical applications.
