Concurrent Technologies designs and manufactures modular, open standards based board level products for use in critical embedded applications. Many of the world’s leading integrators within the defence, security, aerospace, telecommunications, transportation, medical and industrial markets will use these products in challenging environments.

Concurrent Technologies is supported by a world-wide network of distributors and manufacturers representatives to ensure that local support is always available to our customers. Our primary focus is to provide long-life, highly reliable processor boards based on Intel ® Xeon ®, Intel ® Core™ and Intel ® Atom™ processors that are mated with switch fabric boards, XMC I/O modules, mass storage carriers and other accessories to create application ready solutions for a variety of C4ISR, RADAR, LIDAR and similar requirements.

We assist our customers to get started quickly with Board Support Packages for a selection of popular operating systems and by supplying a selection of ready to go development systems. Furthermore, we also provide optional firmware and software packages for enhanced networking, built in test and military-grade security features.

Our products are checked carefully to compliance to the appropriate standards at each stage of development, from the initial design, and in house PCB layout, to assembly, test and final inspection. Our products are tested thoroughly and all quality systems and procedures are reviewed and monitored regularly to ensure adequate control and traceability.


TR AEx/3sd-RCx – 3U VPX Accelerator Engine – MILITARY, VPX

TR AEx/3sd-RCx is a rugged accelerator engine based on an Intel Arria FPGA for Inference at the Edge applications.  It has been developed in accordance with a proposed VITA 65.1 profile that is in alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard.  It can significantly increase inference throughput by providing a dedicated offload engine for convolutional neural network tasks.  It is supported by the Intel OpenVINO development kit.


TR J4x/6sd-RCx – 3U VPX Optical Server Board – MILITARY, VPX

TR J4x/6sd-RCx is a compute intensive rugged server board.  It has been developed in accordance with a proposed VITA 65.1 profile that is in alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard.  It features a processor with 12-cores, large memory capacity, local storage and has a 40G optical Ethernet interface for high throughput.  Windows and Linux Board Support Packages are available as standard as well as a number of optional packages to enhance security.



AM E4x/msd is an AdvancedMC® Single Module (Mid size or Full-size) processor for compute intensive applications offering up to 576 single precision GFLOPs performance.  AM E4x/msd has up to 32GB DDR4 DRAM  with ECC to minimize data corruption and has PCIe® gen 3 connectivity for high bandwidth interconnects to other AdvancedMC modules.

Front panel connectivity includes 10G Ethernet, DisplayPort, USB 3.1 and RS232.


TR E8x/msd – 3U VPX Processor – MILITARY, VPX, AEROSPACE

TR E8x/msd is a 3U VPX™ board based on the Intel® Xeon® processor E-2200 family, providing 6-core performance within the same Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) envelope compared to the prior TR E5x/msd board. A range of standard I/O interfaces are provided with an XMC expansion slot to add application specific I/O or an optional front panel module with DisplayPort, Ethernet, USB and serial connections. TR E8x/msd supports a wide range of backplane profiles based on a PCI Express® (PCIe®) data plane fabric and optional PCIe expansion plane for flexible multi-board configurations. It is compliant with the VITA 46.11 system management specification and is particularly suited for command, control, communicate and compute applications


TR H4x/3sd-RCx - Rugged Server Board - MILITARY, VPX applications

TR H4x/3sd-RCx is a compute intensive rugged server board.  It has been developed to align with a proposed VITA 65.1 profile that is based on feedback from the SOSA™ Consortium.  It features a processor with up to 12-cores, large memory capacity, local storage and support for virtualization.


TR G4x/msd - 3U VPX™ board based on Intel® Xeon® Processor D-1500 Family - MILITARY, AEROSPACE, VPX applications

Concurrent Technologies is one of the leading VPX board manufacturers. For Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) rugged server applications, TR G4x/msd is optimized. In addition, the optimization requires the ultimate processing, memory and storage capabilities.

Using the built-in Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, multi-processor systems can be integrated easily. TR G4x/msd is targeted towards long life-cycle rugged server applications across a range of military, aerospace, transportation and test markets.


VP B1x/msd - VME Processor - MILITARY, INDUSTRIAL, VME applications

VP B1x/msd is a high performance, flexible VMEbus board designed for long life-cycle applications in the defense, industrial, scientific and aerospace markets. It offers the right combination of processing, I/O and firmware features to enable easy technology transitions for many existing VMEbus applications. Board support packages are available as standard for Linux®, Windows®, VxWorks® and Solaris™ and other operating systems can be supported on demand.


VP E2x/msd - VME Processor - MILITARY, INDUSTRIAL, VME applications

VP E2x/msd is a low power consumption VME board with a wide spread of I/O interfaces that has been designed for long life-cycle applications. It offers sufficient processing and graphics performance for many existing VME applications and is able to start running an application within a few seconds with the optional Fast Boot software package.


BA 1TR/501 - VPX Processor - MILITARY, AEROSPACE, VPX applications

BA 1TR/501 is a 3U VPX™ board with an Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1505M v5 for applications that require high speed networking connectivity within a single VPX slot. It consists of Quad-core processor with 16GB DRAM and graphics, 10Gigabit and Gigabit Ethernet LAN connectivity, 64GB solid state disk module, PCI Express® data plane for high speed connectivity to backplane based resources, and air and conduction-cooled variants.


VP F12/msd-RCx - Rugged VME Processor - MILITARY, INDUSTRIAL, VME applications

VP F12/msd-RCx is a rugged conduction-cooled VME processor board extending the choice of long-life VMEbus products designed to be available beyond 2020.


PP B1x/msd - CompactPCI Processor - MILITARY, COMMUNICATION, COMPACTPCI applications

PP B1x/msd is a single slot air-cooled CompactPCI® board, allowing customers to easily migrate to the latest generation of Intel® processors for longer system lifecycles.

PP B1x/msd is a 6U CompactPCI® board based on 4th generation Intel® processors with build variants allowing processor and memory choice to suit the application. PP B1x/msd is designed to enable customers using existing PP 91x/x1x or PP 93x/x1x CompactPCI boards to transition to a new design that is expected to be in the market for many years. New to this generation of CompactPCI board is the option for faster networking with dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet on the front panel, additional connectivity on the optional J4 connector and a CFast slot for reliable on board storage.


TP B1x/3sd - CompactPCI Processor - MILITARY, TRANSPORT, COMPACTPCI applications

TP B1x/3sd is plug compatible with the popular TP 702/38x family allowing transitions for higher performance and longer life deployments. Off the shelf board support packages are available for Linux, Windows and VxWorks and optional software packages are available for Built-In-Test and higher levels of security.


TR E5x/3sd-RCx - Rugged VPX Processor - MILITARY, AEROSPACE, VPX applications

TR E5x/msd-RCx is a rugged conduction-cooled 3U VPX™ board optimized for Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). It is designed to work as the system controller in command, control, communicate and compute applications and has a wide range of interface and storage options.


AM G6x/msd - AMC Processor - INDUSTRIAL, SCIENTIFIC, AMC applications

AM G6x/msd is an AdvancedMC® module designed for long life-cycle, high performance applications. It has the same rear I/O options as the previous generation module for backwards compatibility, includes support for Serial over LAN, adds new direct attached storage and 10 Gigabit Ethernet options.


AM F5x/msd - AMC Processor - COMMUNICATION, INDUSTRIAL, AMC applications

AM F5x/msd is an AdvancedMC® Single Module (Mid size or Full-size) based on an Intel® Skylake microarchitecture processor for long life-cycle, high performance applications. Compatible with legacy AMC modules.



XP B5x/msd provides high performance control and management capability for any carrier card with an XMC site. Based on a low power 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processor, XP B5x/msd is suitable for rugged and extended temperature operating environments.


XM 620/x01 - M.2 Device XMC Module - MILITARY, AEROSPACE, TRANSPORT, XMC applications

XM 620/x01 is an XMC module with two M.2 sites, each of which supports Type 2242, 2260 and 2280 M.2 storage devices.  Each M.2 device has a x4 PCI Express® (M-key) connection to the host card to optimize performance dependent on the devices fitted.

The product is designed to suit many high performance command and control applications in the military and aerospace markets that need mission sufficient storage capacity.
