Paragon comprises of two divisions, with one goal, to assist you in the successful completion of your precision manufacturing project. From our two state of the art manufacturing facilities based in the international port of Hull, products are shipped worldwide to customers who choose Paragon for our ‘total solution’ approach to their precision engineering project. We provide a complete professional service from dealing with your initial enquiry through the design, prototyping, initial manufacture and final production, all under stringent quality control procedures.
Defence Precision Toolmaking
Established in 1969, Paragon Toolmaking has become the toolmaking and precision machining division of Paragon Precision Ltd., providing extensive, in-depth knowledge coupled with vast experience of manufacturing press tools, precision machined components and special assemblies.
Defence CNC Machining
With large capacity CNC machining centres, CNC turning centres and EDM (electro discharge machining) we offer a wide range of precision machining services; from specialist ‘one off’ components, to batch runs in most materials, including hardened steel.
Defence Equipment Press Tools
Core to the business is our experience of the press tool manufacturing industry; we offer expertise over a wide range of tooling requirements from small single part pierce tools and moulds to large multi stage progression tools. Our facilities include try out presses up to 400ton capacity and a dedicated inspection and quality control room equipped with 3D co-ordinate measuring machine.

Formed in 1987, Paragon Pressings has developed into the Sheet Metal Division of Paragon Precision Ltd, recognised as one of the UK’s leading producers of precision sheet metal work, designing and manufacturing a wide range of highly accurate components, fittings, special brackets, enclosures, equipment cases, computer chassis and precision fabricated products.
Defence Electrical Enclosures
A reputation for innovation in design for manufacture, quality, reliability and value has ensured that customers return, forging long term collaborations and partnerships. Our experienced design and programming staff, utilising the latest software tools, are able to help create a new component / assembly or modify your existing design to achieve the optimum performance at the minimum possible manufacturing cost.
Our years of experience of CNC Punching have enabled us to build up an extensive and enviable tooling library, this can be very beneficial, in that it can often negate the need for expensive part tooling to be produced, eliminating the associated costs that this would involve. Through the utilisation of our state of the art Armada high speed punching cell with capacity for 3metre x 1.5metre fully automated sheet handling we can offer ‘lights out’ operation providing cost effective, flexible and timely production of high quality components. In addition our Amada EML combined 4kw laser and punch has the capacity for 3 metre automatic sheet handling and lights out operation providing the capability to produce highly intricate and accurate parts with minimal handling as either a stand-alone or larger manufacturing solution. Enclosures, special brackets, formed sections and equipment cases are manufactured utilising our Amada 7 axis, HFP Series CNC Press Brakes.
Special features such as threads, dimples, notches are handled with ease and our 6 axis robotic welding with dual capacity for both MIG and TIG welding offer supreme precision, flexibility and consistency.
A range of mechanical and hydraulic presses enable large volume work to be produced from blanks or coil, using customer supplied or in-house developed and manufactured tooling.
With the added capability of our finishing facilities that includes a state of the art fully automated Nordson powder coating plant, in-house assembly and packing, and any tooling required being supplied by our own Tooling Division, we provide a one stop solution for your manufacturing requirements.
