For over thirty years Military Systems Group (MSG) has fulfilled engineering and manufacturing contracts for defense customers around the world. MSG is the Program of Record manufacturer of the Gunner Protection Kit and Turret for the SOCOM GMV 1.1.  MSG’s engineered and produced swing arms, turrets and machine gun mounts are on countless OEM vehicles such as DAGORs, MRZRs, HMMWVs, and NSVs.  MSG is deeply experienced in armor plate and parts machining, fabrication and vehicle integration. MSG is a certified SDVOSB and maintains ASO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 quality certifications. MSG is also licensed by the Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (formerly ARDEC) to manufacture multiple US Army Turret/GPKs. 

MSG is fully qualified to perform high-volume manufacturing and management functions required as a supplier to Large OEMs and Governments. In preparation for exercising MSG’s manufacturing and program management capabilities for larger programs, MSG’s owner purchased Richland Industries, LLC in December 2018.

MSG now has available to it over 500,000 square feet of contract manufacturing and assembly space with bays and spaces designed to perform large projects. The facility is outfitted with over 28 overhead cranes rated from 2 – 35 tons. The company’s fiber laser and water jet cutting tables have the ability to cut over 2,000,000 linear inches of 3/8” Steel Armor plate per month. MSG has capabilities and capacity to perform the other required functions of this proposal such as certified welding (2 X CWIs, 1 x CWE, 21+ welders), drilling, bending, breaking, grinding, blasting, wet painting, powder coating, testing and assembling. Our CNC machine shops can handle material up to 30 feet in length.

MSG has mature Manufacturing, Program Management, Configuration Management and Cost Accounting systems designed to meet US Government requirements. MSG has sold tens of thousands of products mounted to military vehicles to dozens of organizations including the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, US Marines and US Special Operations Command. We have supplied foreign militaries including Canada, the Netherlands, Slovakia, UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, Singapore, Chile, Poland, Thailand and Brazil. 

MSG and Richland Industries are certified SDVOSBs and maintain ASO 9001:2015 quality certifications.  MSG further maintains AS 9100 quality certifications while Richland Industries is a HUB Zone enterprise.
