St. Asaph UK. Excelitas Qioptiq have launched an exciting new VGA mid-wave infrared zoom camera optimized for surveillance, targeting and covert applications. CheetIR-Cub combines outstanding optics with the latest generation of High Operating Temperature, VGA 10 m sensor technology.

The continuous zoom lens offers fields of view of 1.8⁰ to 25⁰, enabling identification of a standard NATO target beyond 4km. The state of the art split-linear cooler provides near silent operation and rapid cool-down time. CheetIR-Cub offers a very affordable solution for high resolution 24 hour surveillance and targeting applications.
