Chemical warfare / HazMat training simulators
Argon is proud to collaborate with many of the leading global detector manufacturers and has developed simulators for devices such as the JCAD, LCD3.3, AP4C, S4PE and RAIDM-100.
Our simulation technology allows students to engage in a wide range of environmentally friendly CWA and HazMat scenarios, both indoors and outdoors. The simulators are simple to operate, require no consumables aside from batteries, and need no preventative maintenance or regular calibration—keeping your ongoing costs low.
Most scenarios can be set up in under 15 minutes, enabling realistic CWA and HazMat training almost anywhere with the ability to replicate persistency, wind direction, full and partial decontamination, detector faults, and depletion of simulated consumables such as sieve packs.
By using our Long Range Vapour Source (LRVS) simulation hazards, you eliminate the health, safety, and site remediation issues linked to chemical simulants. The LRVS emitters can be deployed both outdoors and in confined spaces and can be programmed to simulate a wide variety of hazardous substances and scenarios.

MultiGAS
Our generic MultiGAS-SIM supports from one to a total of six different simulation sensor types, including O2, CL2, SO2 and LEL. Instructors can configure the MultiGAS-SIM to incorporate specific simulation sensors as required to represent fielded single or multiple sensor MultiGAS detectors.
Perfect for confined space, open area and gas leak detection and management training, the MultiGAS simulator helps ensure responders have the confidence to conduct gas monitoring, interpret readings, and respond to alarms without exposure to real gas hazards, depleted oxygen or explosive atmosphere
Radiological training simulators
Our radiation training simulators allow the creation of high-impact training sessions that teach essential skills such as source searching, understanding radiation trends, and the importance of body shielding. The simulated inverse square law response makes it easy for students to see how distance and shielding impact radiation detection, reinforcing safety procedures and communication strategies for real-world scenarios.

PlumeSIM wide area instrumented CBRN
PlumeSIM has the ability to transform your CBRN / HazMat exercises. This powerful but easy-to use-simulation system and has four modes of operation:
- Planning: lets you prepare your exercise without the need to use any simulation system infrastructure
- Table top mode: allows students to practice their skills in a semi virtual world without leaving the classroom
- Field exercise mode: our advanced player is worn by the student to track their movements in real-time while driving the simulators with the CBRN scenario you have created
- After action review: you can replay all player movement, threat readings and mistakes made throughout the exercise to discuss how effectively your students carried out their mission and define areas for improvement
