Project Examples for Defense Applications

Collision Avoidance for Aerospace – Featuring a multi camera setup on board of an aircraft. Critical requirement: Signals or data needs to be fast and in sync. Allied Vision’s Alvium camera is a match delivering low latency with CSI-2 technology.

Situational Awareness – Camera systems for long distance detection and recognition. Based on our standard technology we specified a re-design of imager board and firmware code to meet MilSpec (Military Spec) requirements and image quality enhancement for low light and day light conditions. A fast and stable signal is guaranteed by our CSI-2 technology.

Unmanned Ground Systems (UGS), Robotics – Navigation and mapping based on vision technology. Our 3D camera technology shows an excellent daylight performance compared to time-of-flight sensors.

Drone Control with VIS/SWIR – Supporting landing maneuvers. Allied Vision’s camera and optic provide images from ground to give spatial information for tactical flight maneuvers.

Offshore maneuvering – 360° view with 3 Alvium cameras. The vision system supports an automated docking maneuver of unmanned drone to any offshore infrastructure.
